FreeMind is a Java tool that allows users to create all kinds of conceptual maps and diagrams.

It is ideal for listing project tasks, detailing the components of an organization, explaining the concepts of a theory, etc.

The sections of the conceptual maps created with FreeMind can be collapsed in order to facilitate the process of editing and comprehension. Internal and external links, icons, and images can be added to the various sections.

FreeMind allows users to export the maps and diagrams to an HTML file where the sections can be collapsed in the same manner as in the application.
